TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

Arul Anandar College, Karumathur (henceforth AAC), provides the facility of online application for admission through the Internet. AAC’s rules & regulations apply to all such transactions along with special conditions imposed for Internet based application.

The following terms and conditions will apply if you wish to use the AAC online application service. Please go through the conditions carefully and if you accept them, then you are deemed to have agreed to the terms and conditions set forth below. If you do not agree with all these terms and conditions, you must not transact on this Website.

This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and AAC with respect to this Website and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between the user and AAC with respect to this Website. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form this agreement is made between:

Scope of Service:AAC makes no guarantee that any service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.

Rules governing the application of candidates to AAC through Internet:

All rules and regulations applicable for admission procedure to AAC will also apply to Online Application through the Internet.

Candidates shall be chosen after clearing the online examination, as per existing regulations and norms of AAC.

Confirmation of Submission on Application and Payment: Your application will be confirmed online, after you completely fill the Online Application Form & make payment successfully. Further, the system will issue you a unique Transaction ID for future reference. We accept application fee in various modes including credit/ debit card through payment gateway, net banking through net banking gateway. The choice of Payment Mode lies with you. If any one of the mode is not functioning please try the other one available.

Processing of Application is subject to realization of payment and the service charges (including Service Tax) from the concerned Bank through the Payment Gateway. You will be responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes and assessments arising out of your use of this Website.

General Obligations: You shall access our website only for lawful purposes and you shall be responsible for complying with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations in connection with the use of our website.

Information Provided: The information you provide in the application page must be complete and accurate. AAC reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as AAC deems necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or Governmental request.

Non-authorization of payment more than once by the payment gateway for the processing fee paid by you is liable to result in deregistration of your account with this website, without any notice.

Applicant Responsibility: You confirm to us that you are 18 years of age or above and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement with us and that all information you provide in respect of your use of the service is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge and belief. You are responsible for the security of your password and for all transactions undertaken using your password through our service. You confirm that you are the authorized holder of the credit card or the original account holder used in the transactions you make using the site and you alone use the "id" and "password". AAC will not be responsible for any financial loss, inconvenience or mental agony resulting from misuse of your ID/password/credit card number/account details number for payment for application fee on this site.

Limitation of Liability: AAC shall not be liable to you say as expressly provided for in these terms and conditions and shall have no other obligations, duties or liabilities whatsoever in contract, tort or otherwise arising out of the use of the service or connection to the website.

Accuracy of Information: We shall use reasonable endeavours to check the accuracy of the information published on this website. We give no warranty as to the accuracy of such information given on our website and reserve the right to amend and vary the contents of this website from time to time without notice. Force Majeure: We shall not be liable to you in respect of any delay in performance of these terms and conditions or delay in performance or breach of the terms and conditions due to any event or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Disclaimer: AAC is not responsible for wrong application due to incorrect details furnished by the user.

Refund and Cancellation Policy: After the transaction has been done successfully on AAC website no request for refund or cancellation will be entertained.

Regarding fee refund, the institution will follow UGC Notification- “Remittance and Refund of Fees and Other Student-centric Issues”, December 2016. Cancellation of admission must be processed in person and in writing along with all the original receipts received from the College.Admission to a particular program will be confirmed, register number will be allotted, ID card will be issued to the student only after submission of the respective board marks card before the commencement of the class.

Ragging: The definition of ragging and the penalty of ragging under the Karnataka Education Act 1983(Karnataka Act No.1 of 1995) Section 2(29) and the Order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. I will face disciplinary action/legal proceedings including cancellation of my admission/debarring from examinations, valuation and assessment process/expulsion from College, if I am found guilty of ragging in any form or aspect.

UNDERTAKING

I hereby declare that the information furnished is correct & authentic. My admission is liable for cancellation without reimbursement of fees in case of any false representation.

I hereby undertake that I will adhere to the following conditions, failing which the Principal has the right to detain me from writing the End Semester Examination conducted by the College and to repeat the semester.

I will put in a minimum of 75% attendance in each subject.

I will secure at least 40% marks in all the Examinations conducted by the College.

I will abide by all the rules and regulation of the College.

I will put in 60 hours of Outreach Program/Extension Activity which is mandatory to obtain a degree from the Institution.

I will complete all the course requirements as mentioned in the student handbook.

Once you have clicked the 'Accept' button of these Terms and Conditions you have entered into a formal agreement with AAC for the purpose of transactions on this website and abide by terms and conditions along with the undertaking.

Please note: In case the applicant is a minor the Terms and Conditions for payment transactions will be binding on the authorized Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking account holder who conducts the transaction. All terms and conditions and the undertaking shall be binding on the applicant/parent/guardian.
